RIBA chartered architect with 18 years' experience. Ava founded Studio Lark in 2015 after a decade at Sergison Bates. Her work focuses on the relationship between architecture, landscape, and craft.
Tom Hale
Associate Director
Tom leads the studio's adaptive reuse practice. A conservation accredited architect, he brings deep expertise in working with historic structures and a passion for giving old buildings new purpose.
Suki Patel
Senior Architect
Suki's work is defined by meticulous material research and detailing. She leads interior architecture projects and oversees material specifications across the studio.
James Okoro
Architect
James joined from Witherford Watson Mann. His research-led approach and expertise in computational design brings a rigorous analytical dimension to the studio's work.
Our Approach
Every project begins with listening. We spend time understanding the site, the brief, and the aspirations of the people we work with before putting pen to paper. We believe the best architecture emerges from a deep reading of context — the qualities of light, the grain of a neighbourhood, the way a family moves through their day.
