Process

How we work, from first conversation to completed building.

Every project is different, but our approach is consistent — rooted in listening, material research, and close collaboration.

01

Listen

Every project begins with conversation. We take time to understand how you live, what you value, and what the site is telling us. This stage includes site visits, research, and an open dialogue about ambitions and constraints.

02

Explore

We develop multiple design directions through sketch models, drawings, and material samples. This is a collaborative phase — we present options, discuss trade-offs, and refine the brief together before committing to a single direction.

03

Design

The chosen direction is developed in detail. We produce comprehensive drawings and specifications, select materials, coordinate with engineers and consultants, and navigate planning. Every joint, every threshold, every view is considered.

04

Build

We remain deeply involved through construction, visiting site weekly and working closely with contractors to ensure the design intent is realised. The best architecture emerges from this ongoing dialogue between drawing board and building site.

05

Inhabit

We return after handover to document the completed project and gather feedback. Buildings reveal themselves over time — understanding how a space is actually used informs everything we design next.
